Thank you for considering supporting CLAPA in memory of a loved one.
When someone we love dies, we may find ourselves completely overcome with a range of emotions and decisions we have to make. Our thoughts often turn to the wishes they had and how we can ensure these wishes are respected. In memory gifts are not only a wonderful way to celebrate a life, but they are also an incredibly thoughtful way to support the work of CLAPA and everyone affected by Cleft in the United Kingdom.
Your gift to CLAPA makes it possible for us to continue providing vital support for families like Rachel’s.
There are a wide variety of different ways you can support CLAPA in celebration of someone’s life. Remembrance donations can be organised through either a personal donation, a online tribute fund or a collection at a funeral or wake – one special way is to ask for donations in lieu of flowers.
A collection at a funeral – perhaps instead of flowers. Most funeral directors will oversee this for you, so it is important to let them know that you have chosen to support CLAPA They then forward them to the charity, at the same time notifying the family of the total donations received. If you choose to arrange donations this way, it’s important to provide the funeral director with our name and address :
Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA)
The Green House
244-254 Cambridge Heath Road
LONDON, E2 9DA
Let friends and family know who to make a cheque out to (CLAPA) and the name and address of the funeral directors as the place to send their donations.
A tribute fund is a unique way of making a lasting memorial to a loved one.
You can create a unique online page dedicated to your loved one using JustGiving or MuchLoved. Family and friends will be able to visit your page to share special memories, messages of support, and give a donation if they wish.
