    Sue was born in 1938 with a cleft lip and palate, and has been kind enough to share her story with us, including her struggles with speech and confidence growing up in a time when there was very little awareness of cleft.

    The Old Redcliffians Rugby Club showed their softer sides when they helped Alison Dunster and her daughter Esmae raise an amazing total of £3500 for the Cleft Lip and Palate Association & the South West Cleft Unit.

    In April 2013, the government changed the way that funding is provided to schools. This did not change the responsibilities schools and local authorities have towards children with special educational needs (SEN), just the ways in which this will be dealt with. Changes to the way special educational provision is provided will be implemented in September 2014 and will be phased in gradually.
