7 Year Old Regan Makes Marathon Effort for CLAPA!

January 8, 2015

Regan Footman raised an impressive £1519 this October, but even more impressive was the amazing challenge that he set himself to raise the money.

Regan, who is a superstar fundraiser at only 7 years old, cycled for SIX HOURS through Milton Keynes completing an amazing 26 mile route! At first mum Cassie thought it would be too much for Regan but his determination won out and Regan’s mum and dad even ended up taking on the challenge with him! Afterwards, Regan celebrated with his favourite pizza – we think it was well deserved!

Regan’s entire family has been supporting him along the way. His mum and dad both did the cycle with him, and his little sister Keira has organised a bakesale to help her brother raise more money! Regan’s school was so impressed with his efforts when pitched CLAPA to them as an option for their Charity of the Year that they unanimously decided to support CLAPA and fundraise for us this year.

We want to give a massive thank you to Regan for all his amazing efforts and let everyone know just how impressed we are with his can-do approach and optimistic way of tackling challenges!
