#FundraisingFriday: Annabel and Jessica, and Emma

February 5, 2016

Welcome to our first ‪#‎FundraisingFriday‬! This is a chance for us to celebrate CLAPA’s incredible fundraisers!

For our very first #FundraisingFriday post we’d love to introduce you to Emma who will be running the London Marathon this April and twins Annabel and Jessica, aged five, who are already budding fundraising entrepreneurs.

Annabel and Jessica fundraising with their Cake stand
Annabel was born with a cleft palate and asked her mum if they could do some fundraising. For the last two weekends the girls have set up a little shop outside their house, selling cakes that they have baked, and sweets and chocolate left over from Christmas. Their cakes must be very yummy as they have raised a fantastic £41 for CLAPA and both girls are keen to continue their shop in the future!

A huge thank you to you Annabel and Jessica and of course to your mum too!

Fletcher, Emma’s gorgeous little boy, was born with unilateral left side cleft lip, gum and palate. This April, his mum Emma is running the London Marathon in his honor.

Emma is a real fundraising pro and has managed to reach 80% of her £2,000 target in just a few days! If it was up to us, she’d receive a medal already. Well done Emma, and a huge thank you to all the generous people who have already donated!
