Grandparents in Scotland Wanted for New Research Project

May 24, 2017

UPDATE: 01/12/17

The researchers have had lots of really interesting and useful telephone interviews with a number of grandparents of children with a cleft, and would like to thank everyone who shared and partipated in this study.

Now, they are looking for more grandfathers to join in with the study to ensure a wide range of views are considered.

If you are the grandfather of a child born with cleft lip and/ or palate, we would love to hear from you!

You can take part, or find out more about the study, by contacting Ella Guest [email protected] +44 (0)117 32 87045.

Do you have a grandchild with cleft lip and/or palate?

Do you live in Scotland?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Researchers at the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) in Bristol are interested in talking to grandparents whose grandchildren were born with cleft lip and/or palate.

We would like to invite grandparents to share their story in a one-to-one telephone interview with a researcher. This study is currently only available to grandparents in Scotland, as it is supported by the CLAPA Regional Coordinators Project in Scotland.

If you would like to take part, or learn more about the study, please contact Ella Guest: [email protected], +44 (0)117 32 87045.
