#FundraisingFriday: Phil’s Triathlon
Sarah and Phil are currently awaiting the birth of their new baby, which they have been told will be born with a cleft lip and palate. Phil says “It was a shock and at first neither of us knew what to do, what to say or what to think… At the time we knew absolutely nothing about the condition, however the CLAPA team were there to talk about what it is and how we move forward with this news. They helped us understand what happens next for us and our baby. They answered all of our questions and over time have been able to put our worries at ease.”
In response to the support that Sarah and Phil have received from CLAPA, Phil and his brother Jason will be taking on the Maldon Trithalon THIS SUNDAY to raise money and awareness for the charity. The couple have been blow away by the support that they have received and have completely smashed their original fundraising target – raising almost 200% so far! WOW!
