What is an Annual General Meeting (AGM)?

A Branch’s AGM is the most meeting they have all year. It’s when they look back at what they’ve accomplished since the last and look forward to all the things they’d like to do in the future. This includes looking at fundraising activity and the Branch’s budget, receiving an update from CLAPA’s National Office about the charity’s plans, and, of course, electing a new Branch Committee to take things forward.

AGMs are a great way to learn more about your local Branch and to put yourself forward to volunteer in any capacity.

Can anyone attend?

If you’re interested in helping out or learning more, then you’d be very welcome to come along to your local Branch’s AGM!

The East of England Branch urgently needs new volunteers to ensure it can continue to offer events and activities to support the local area. Please get in touch ASAP if you can help in any way.
