CLAPA is still waiting to speak directly to NHS England regarding cuts to specialist training fellowships for cleft surgeons, after receiving a short response from the Government to our letter of concern. 

Are you a student counsellor currently training on a recognised counselling or psychotherapy course (Level 4 or above)? CLAPA offers remote counselling placement opportunities for student counsellors who would like to gain experience supporting individuals and families affected by cleft.

Members of CLAPA’s management team recently sat in on a cleft clinic hosted by the South West Cleft Service - and tested out their new hi-tech speech investigation assessment suite.
