Services
Our UK wide network of Parent Contacts are trained to:
- Support others who are going through what you have experienced by telephone, email or home visits
- Be a support to the cleft team
- Volunteer at cleft clinics
- Have an overview of cleft lip and/or palate, including treatment and physical issues
- Understand the potential emotional responses of different family members
- Refer appropriately to others, such as directly to the cleft teams
- Provide information about Clapa's services
All of our parent contacts are subject to Criminal Records Checks and any conversations with them will be confidential.
