Frequently Asked Questions

How can CLAPA help you?

We aim to provide  a wide range resources, information and support to health professionals involved in the treatment of cleft lip and/or palate. CLAPA has always maintained a good working relationship with the Cleft teams in the UK and we are hoping that this website will now reach a wider range of health professionals.

We aim to provide you with:

  • A national network of support for your patients.
  • Access to local CLAPA events and information days.
  • Ease of access to patients for research and consultation.
  • A representative voice to talk to commissioners and purchasers.
  • A central point of contact and information hub.

We welcome your feedback and comments as we want to expand this section of the website. We would encourage you to become a member of our CLAPA Community to gain access to our full range of online resources which include:

  • Regular newsletters
  • Downloadable publications and literature, including updates to our Health Professionals Resource Folder, in PDF format.
  • Opportunity to influence policies relating to cleft lip and palate care through our online surveys.
  • Access to the latest research findings.
  • Be part of the only UK charity dedicated to cleft lip and palate.
