Every year the bravest people in Essex race across the freezing cold mud flats in Maldon to raise money for charity. The race held on the 27th December was yet again a huge success and competitors turned out in their hundreds, most in fancy dress, to wade through the mud at Promenade Park. Oliver Richards, 21, who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate chose to compete in this event in support of CLAPA and in doing so raised the generous sum of £200.

CLAPA would like to take this opportunity to thank Oliver for braving the December temperatures and chest high waters to raise funds for CLAPA!
