Hello, we are Bethany and Jaimee. We are starting a Young People's Support Group for young people aged 11-16 years old, but obviously we will welcome anybody who has cleft lip and palate or any other people who have been affected by knowing anybody with a cleft.

My name is Bethany, I am 14 years old and I was born with a Cleft Lip and Palate. I have been interested for some time now in trying to find someone who is around my age with a cleft and is willing to meet up and speak.

 

My name is Jaimee, I am 13 years old and my little sister Molly was born with a very wide cleft palate.   I am looking to meet some new friends who are around my age who are a brother or sister of someone who has a cleft.

We are setting the support group up to have fun, arrange meetings, fun events and fundraising.

We are having our first event on Saturday 9th July at 6pm at Frankie and Benny's restaurant in Bedford and it would be great to see you there.  If you want to come along, please let Claire know ASAP.

Although the group will be based in Bedford, it is open to anyone who is happy to travel to Bedford for meetings and events.
