Hey everyone,

I’m new on here!

My daughter (Alarna) was born in june 07 with a severe bilateral cleft lip and pallet which also extended slightly into her nose.
she has had the basic first operations and has always been very happy.
but now she’s starting to go to nursery and next year school and i’m panicking so much!
she’s very out-going but i’m also aware that kids can be very truthful/blunt fully rude.

does anyone know of any handy tips to help her, i know she’s only young but she’s my only child atm and i worry so much.

if there’s anyone who has a daughter or son around the age of 3 with a cleft lip would be willing to meet up i think that may help.

i think i’m more worried than she is at present but i want to do the best to help support her as much as possible
