My Daughter has a Bilateral Cleft Lip and Palate and is due to have her first operation on her lip. I am very nervous and wondered if anyone had any advice for me?

Hi, my daughter has a cleft of her soft palate.  She is 10wks old so is not due to have her operation for a few months.  I was just wondering what part of the country you are from as I find talking to my daughters cleft nurse a real help with questions etc but I know not all hospitals provide them.

my daughter is 3 now and was born with a bilateral cleft lip, pallete and also had/still had damage to her nose.

its hard to look to the future when your daughter is so small and you may feel like you have a mountain to climb but you will get there and its a journey but i’ve learnt so much already.
