Cambodia 2014: Week Two
We’ve finally moved into our new house and it feels nice not to be living out of our suitcases anymore!
This week was a national holiday so the hospitals were closed. The 15 day religious festival ‘Pchum Ben’ (Ancestors day) is very important here. It is a time when many Cambodians pay their respects to deceased relatives. This is an opportunity for families to get together, generally going back to their villages to celebrate.
