Katherine Smoker, CLAPA volunteer and supporter needs help with her dissertation project

[09 Jan 2012]

Hello everyone,

I've been involved with CLAPA for a number of years now and I love this charity so much because I was born with a cleft palate myself (pierre robin syndrome). I feel I like to give back as I know how hard it can be and what great support CLAPA can provide. Last year I ran the London 10K for CLAPA and have volunteered on the summer camps. I'm also studying Speech & Language therapy and just in my final year now. I've decided to do my dissertation project looking at the quality of life of people who have a cleft lip. If any of you know anybody aged 18-25 with a cleft lip (or you yourself) who you think wouldn't mind doing an online 10 minute questionnaire, I'd be so grateful if you would pass on my email address  or send me a message on facebook via the 'Cleft lip and palate Association' group, so that I can give them the link to the questionnaire. Thanks so much in advance.
